The Kindle edition of What Bankruptcy Can’t Do is available at Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01LYSFMKL.

It’s been almost twenty-five years since I filed my first bankruptcy for a client.

I truly enjoy helping people through their financial problems.

But bankruptcy does not eliminate all debt. Sometimes I have to be the bearer of bad news.

When the bulk of someone’s debt are student loans or child support or taxes I have to tell them filing bankruptcy will likely not help them and they will need to find other ways to relieve their financial stress.

Sometimes it still has a happy ending: “I can take care of the back child support if you can help me with the medical bills and the credit card.”

This book started as a series of blogs explaining the kinds of debts bankruptcy does not affect.

I hope it will inform the reader of his or her options in a way that is clear, concise and with a little humor, too

It may convince a reader that bankruptcy is an avenue they can pursue or let them know bankruptcy may not help them right now.

But it can be a first step toward being Financially Free!
